Who We Are

Plain Clothes Detectives were first introduced to the Police Force in 1862 to assist in crime fighting. This Department now provides a wide range of services comprising of the under mentioned units (Ottley 1972:60):

• Fingerprint Bureau
• Police Photography Unit
• Robbery Squad
• Stolen Vehicles Squad
• INTERPOL Bureau
• Anti-Kidnapping Unit
• Criminal Gang and Intelligence Unit
